Ritthikorn Phakdeewat has a hit series to save, a new screenwriter he cannot agree with, and another long night ahead. The one part of his routine that helps is The Small Hours, a tiny bedtime-story channel whose gentle narrator never asks him to be charming.
Thanaphat Sombunsin can defend every line he writes—except when Rit tries to perform it and proves him wrong. By day, their arguments fill the rehearsal room. By night, Thun answers a listener called LastLight, who keeps describing a maddening man at work with suspiciously familiar timing.
Then Rit says five disastrous words in a rehearsal room: "Read to me again tonight."
Knowing who has been on the other side of every message is only the beginning. They still have an ending to rewrite, a camera waiting, and a harder question than any line in the script: can they love the whole person when the voice is no longer anonymous?
